Ving Tsun – What i’ve learnt so far..

So far i have done 13 hours of sessions learning Ving Tsun from my new Sifu this year. I have not trained in Ving Tsun for years.

The 1st and 2nd Section of Siu Nim Tao from my Sifu in our system.

  • Bong Sau (Block)
  • Laan Sau (Pins their arm down)
  • Tan Sau (Dissipates/Blocks their force)
  • Bik Sau (Upper block)
  • Wu Sau (Mid to high blocking technique)
  • Man Sau (Ready positioning of the hands)
  • Gan Sau (Lower Block)
  • Lap Sau (Block turned into a grab on their wrist/forearm)
  • Fook Sau
  • Jut Sau
